Since a week ago I haven't had my Xlink show up in the bottom corner of XBMC when it starts. At times it will show up but It will never get a connect to the Orbital Server.
Stats XBox Media Center 1-15 build....
WRT54GS router flashed with Alchemy then Kaistation 7.0.0.4a
Also XBMC set on Auto DCHP and set correctly to find my router at 192.168.1.1.
My router is set with the correct Mac Address and name and password for Kai and shows that its running.
I even disabled the router firewall to check if that was an issue.
This worked flawlessly for many months and then by some odd reason no connectivity.
When I do get the Xlink logo I can connect (appears to show a connect with friends, games that I have, but no arenas or chat...) but never an Orbital server connection.
and then I reset or restart the box and no logo at all.
Weather shows fine and so does music from the internet.
I can FTP into the box correctly and such.
I also finally got it to play for one night only when I ran Kai on
my desktop and connected through with the xbox.
I dont want to have to set the computer up every time like the past so I am asking for a little help.
What have I done wrong? Is there a newer version of Kai Station for my router??
I am getting the RSS feed
weather when I check, and internet access.
I even tried to reconnect again with Kai on my computer but my xbox seems to be less than cooperative.
p.s. I have friends with newer copies of XBMC but they all seem to go back to the older builds, is this an issue???
Thanks

As in going in to 192.168.1.1 and stopping and starting kaid. Also checking with a 'ps -aux' command in the diagnostics popup page (same place you manually turn BOOT_WAIT on) to see if kaid processes are actually running. |
