You can do all of the above Joe, you just don't know how.

It's amazing what pressing that blue (?) icon can do for your life..

Clicking the icon on their name from the right will also give you some good information but reading the (?) would have told you that as well. Wink

Actually you can, press the Folder icon while in arena mode and it will cycle views and you CAN see your buddy list. (Did you even know every arena has an icon? have you even cleared your icon cache recently?)

Alright i know u can look at the people's profile to see where they are from, but it sucks wehn your hosting 16 people, and it's lagging, and you want to know who is from euope. with XBC i just look at me sceen and go "there u are u mo-fo!!!" and then kick `em 2 seconds flat.

And u also need to fix the kick button it only works half the time...

alright.. i have compailned far past my welcome and more then i wanted to about free software.. i'm done... it does feel good to let out steam...

ummm....JUST LOOK AT THEIR PING....if someone from Europe has good ping its not ganna lag ur room...if someone down the street from you does....it will...thats just a quick lesson

well it also sucks when i go to look at the pings and all they are, are "bad" I mean it literaly says "Bad" I would like to see numbers.. Confused

But when you are in game and playing, most will go to "bad" so its best to wait until the game is in lobby to see who the high pinger is.

but it sucks when ur in the middle of a half hour, dead stand still, even, CTF game on Halo 2. and someone joins and u don't know who to kick cuz everyone's ping spikes up.

I guess this is why you can't join games that are active on XBL unless it is a custom game. And for me, if I am hosting Halo 2 once the game starts the room is closed so I don’t have to worry about that. I also have it in the settings so the game doesn’t last that long because at some point, enough should be enough.

I'm sure not evenryone has the same way of doing things. I don't like to close it. And I don't like a time limit, play till u fall asleep if you have to. Normaly, I just turn on my away Messege saying I'm hosting and I let people join as they come. The people that are on my buddy list see it, and they join and have no problem when they join because they all live in the US.
But when you get those people from California (which is pretty much like trying to host people from Europe for me) they join. Then the pings begin to suck. Same with them joe-smoes that try to join with a 90 Upload Rolling Eyes

Maybe you should fix that also.... Get rid of the "Bad" ping and put actull numbers. Now thats a smart idea.
