Ntsc Playing With PAL

So Heres the big question...
can ntsc play with pal

i've tried with a friend but it didnt work..
i need to know why it dont and also, can u try and make it so it can work?

dosent work for Socam 2

but other games like TimeSplitters they have had some sucsess.

however, I think if you have a high ping, you can have trouble seeing the games. (ie. Trans-Atlantic games)

Ya I have played Hajaz in Timesplitters 2 and there was no NTSC/PAL problem, i also didn't notice any lag either.
