Well I really enjoyed the first, and just got the second. I'm playing it and I'm pretty disappointed from the beginning. I haven't played it much, I hope it gets better. More specifically I'm writing this post because I'm actually disgusted with the amount of swearing this game has.

When the old PC game Kingpin came around with it's swearing, it started a new era. Now, it's like every game needs to have profanities at every cut scene to make it "hip". It puts me off the game when everything is this "angry" attitude. A sample cut scene:

You're gonna die you f**** son of a bitch. Die mother f****!"

Brothers in Arms - same deal there.

What's going on? I'm glad I don't have kids in my house who might see me play one of these games one day.

I really dont mind the language as long as the story plot is very tastefull and well thought out. I picked this game up yesterday and havent recieved a chance to play it yet. I hope the story is as good as it's predeccesor.

I'm with you DF, I do have kids and they like to watch me play the games they don't really have the skills for. I hate it when I pop in a game....it looks pretty good action is good then all the sudden they drop the F-Bomb. The games would really be just as good or bad without the language.

Crude humor can be great. Boxo having to explain to 9-yr old daughter what "MotherF***er" means...=not what i'm looking for in a video game.

I have not seen any games like this, but I don't play many single player game styles. I know my wife slaps me about 10 times a day for me breaking that 4 letter word out. But damn F'ed up that they would add that to a game IMO.

Swearing has its uses, but best to be used when its unexpected or maybe at the right times, continuous swearing for no apparent aint even realistic if you ask me.
