Ok, first thing's first. This is the wireless card I'm using:
I managed to get Kai to recognise my PSP and it comes up as sucessfully configured. However, when I try to join or host a game, nothing happens! I sit there for ages, and people who try to join, can't detect the game. I'm almost certain that I'm doing things right.
EDIT: I've just had a thought. I'm using the same wireless card to connect to my wireless router (Linsys WAG54G) as I am to connect my PSP to my PC. Could this be the route of the problem, meaning I need to have it hardwired to the router?
Thanks in advance. |

Yes. PSP games use Adhoc mode, connection to an access point (ie. your network's router) is via Infrastructure. Need to "dedicate" the wireless card to Adhoc mode (disconnecting you from the router). Hardwire to the router and dedicate the WLAN card for the PSP. |

Ok, yeah I read about that in the FAQs. Just thought I'd ask to get a more specific response to my problem. Thanks Dfunked!
EDIT: Bah. Windows won't connect to my PSP. After about a minute of trying to connect, it's on the list with the status as 'Not Connected'. I'm using Ridge Racer just as in the FAQ, and my laptop is now hardwired to my router.
I've done *everything* as in the FAQ. Well, except the Kai configuration tool. Couldn't find that. Where is it? Is it in the Kai UI or is a separate program I need to download? |

Ah I see, it's a separate program. I was trying to find a menu or buttong in the actual Kai UI! |
