im using Yz Dock. not sure abt dfunk's. yz dock doesnt use alot of resource. try it.

Amazing btw how many lads (and gals?) seem to use Windows with a Apple styled thema.

Tony - ObjectDock? Are you kidding me! As if I would put any Stardock applications on my system - they're bloody ridiculous! 6MB of memory for ObjectDock, 6MB of memory for WindowsBlinds etc etc - HAH! I'm not using WB at all.

I'm using all Y'z stuff. Y'z Dock (800KB mem usage), Y'z Toolbar, Y'z Shadow and Konfabulator 2 for the widgets.

cool thx, i dont have any system resouces to spear, for some reason java is taking up 100mb of mem usage.

Then Kill Java it's stupid anyway, name me a java program and I can probably name you a ''native'' one that runs better with less resources. I decided to quite Java after every single java started using more than 50 MB Sad

xHn_[UK]_Blade, you should turn on ClearType font smoothing if you want it to look more like a Mac. Also, what's that video capture dialog window from? I just use VirtualDub / DScaler for video capture.

It's a Max OSX Tiger wallpaper, makes me feel warm when I look at it (since I leave my monitor on all the time really and on the desktop). As for Trillian, it lets you rename any and all of your contacts (as I do for my MSN contacts).

It's annoying when people keep changing their MSN names, so I just rename them all.

i didnt expect people to react to my desktop so much but hey thanx. heres a bigger pic of my wallpaper and i use a program called "stylexp" to customize my win xp. my bootup screen has homer typing on the computer.

i don't know what happend i was trying to change skins. but i guess the skin didn't have any features. so i tried to uninstall litesptep and that didn't work so i said screw it Smile

I never let litestep become the shell.. always had this app that handled it, so even if LS went stupid (and it did), I could recover easily.

Those shell changers are a bit scary for some people..
