How exactly am I supposed to play PSP games ......through my computer?

Here's a rough sketch of the setup:

(cable modem) - (NetGear Wireless Router MR814 v2) - (Dell)
..........................................|
..........................................|
..........................................|
........................................(Wireless Enabled Laptop[running XLink software])

Ok, just thought of something, does the Xlink need to be on the computer that
that is hardwired to the router?

Not to sure if wirelesee to wireless works have seen packet loss due to this. If your going to play I would suggest kai on a pc that is hardwired to your router

1. Get a wireless card that will be DEDICATED to the PSP - since it will use Ad-Hoc communication.
2. Get your PC that this wireless card in point 1 is hooked into, and make sure it has access to the Internet, either via another wireless card, or by hardwiring. Your choice. Obviously a cable is cheaper than another wireless card.

Hardwiring is a better solution since wireless signals will determine packet strength, transmission rates and packet loss etc.
