is it possible to use the xbmc ui with the crossover conection method (from pc straight to xbox) i'm having trouble setting it up at a friends house, although i set it up perfectly at mine with a router method. engine ip and all that jazz is set up, but xbmc wont find the engine. |

Yes it is. It's more likely that you've not set up the network to XBMC up properly, or you've set the wrong IP as the engine IP (make sure you're choosing the correct IP, sinc the PC will have 2 network adapters). |

I'd disable / remove any software firewalls if there's any. XP SP2 firewall included. |
