I like the idea but what if you are playing with more than one person? I play on xlink with my brother using the same xbox so naturally he is my xlink account. My name "Kamiyay" will match my xlink account but since he doesnt have one (because there is only one xbox) will I get banned automatically? |

i'm with kamiyay. i usually play online with three other members of kai and we always log onto kai under one person's xtag. we've basically got our profiles on everyone's xbox so whichever house we log on from, we all play under our usual profiles.
is there anyway that the profiles being used could be seen underneath the Xtag on the left side of the kai window? currently we have to select the number of users we are bringing into the arena, but if there were some way to actually list the profiles being used underneath someone's xtag this might help out--especially when looking to ban someone. maybe somehow intercept this data concerning profiles as it is being transferred from one xbox to another? |

Well I read just about every post in the other thread and it seems a bit overkill for the most part because simple ideas like this one haven't been tried out yet. This idea is great, just like sharing moderator rights to your private arena it should do the trick. These aren't new ideas mind you, people have been suggesting them for a long time. I'd like to see it put into place ASAP so we can try it out. IMHO the tree structure is a good idea in an "all else has failed" scenario, which is obviously not the state kai is in since you need to try these kinds of options before they can be deemed unworkable. |

What about people who have multiple users playing from one lan? Because on some Saturday nights, we have most of our clan members playing from one house (one of the cool things about being a local only clan) I can think of quite a few people that play with 2 people on the same connection. |

Yeah most of my friends (8 or 9 people) play devided among 3 xboxs. We all live in the same dorm and we just play on an xbox that we feel comfortable with or one that is available. MAC address filtering would be a nice addition to kai8. ( putting in your consoles mac and having kai only listen to that mac) |

Hey Swift
If all your mates are connected through your login then as long as you are in the game then they should be fine right?
Do they show up in kai now when you are on the same lan?
I think its only you who we see
I just cant be sure though |

damn i hate to be a pain, but i disagree.
i think the rule should simply be
"your in-game tag must be (or an abreviation of) your kai tag.
Otherwise it's gonna get messy for people like me that have alot of system link games.
(i currently have all but about 7) |

Couldn't we just use a packet sniffer to identify in game nicks.
I tried this recently and didn't have much luck, but I don't have much experience in dissecting game packets. |
