I need to hook up my GameCube wirelessly. I've tried the Linksys WGA54G game adapter, but -- barring any further help from the Kai crew -- I've pretty much given up on it.
Anyone who's successfully used a wireless adapter/bridge with their GameCube and Mario Kart, please post here so I can know what to purchase.
Thanks, gang! |

I'm sure the setup for NGC on Xlink shouldn't be any different as the connection for Xbox or PS2. Instead of getting a router, I would use the ICS method as it seems very easy for myself. Getting a crossover cable would seem all that you need, and a laptop or computer that has two or more ethernet ports. PM me if you need more info or help. |

Thanks, but I already have a router, and I'm able to play successfully wired through it. I was trying to move the GameCube out of the computer room.
I've taken the Linksys WGA54G back. Neither Linksys nor Kai could get it working. I've currently set up a D-Link DGL-3420 Wireless Gaming Adapter, and have gotten "configured successfully" for my Cube. That's something the Linksys never accomplished.
I'm still waiting to actually play a game with someone. No one's be online when I've been home so far today. I'll report back if this baby works... |
