Question about getting banned

Hi, one of my teammates got banned yesterday, and he has no idea why, he would post this himself, but apparently he's banned from the site too.
He supposevly went on kai, played some games (which I was playing with him too), then we both left kai to make some sigs. When he tryed signing back on, it wouldn't let him. So he tryed registering a new account, and a message popped up saying "Banned". His account name is IcRaZeDI. So if any admins or moderators know what happend, can you please reply. We're pretty curious...

He got an email explaining why he was banned. It's a 24 hour ban.
