I have XBMC 1.0 and in the settings/programs I don't have any Xlink settings.

Then it seems as though your XBMC is outdated. Finding an up-to-date XBMC should give you the integrated Kai on the XBMC dashboard. Search around, you'll find it.

Sorry I should have all so posted that there is a Xlink Kai link in the Programs area of my XBMC. But I will get the newer XBMC.
