Huh. That controller is wierd as hell, but it's interesting how they are straying away from the 'beaten path' as it were for controllers.

Yeah, a very interesting concept. I'm gonna get a 360 for sure, and a Rev as well. Not sure how you'd play a driving game on the Rev's controller, or whether an FPS would feel natural, but tennis or cricket, or a fighter (imagine controlling Link's sword with that thing!) would be amazing.

I'll be happy for Ninty if they stay in the console market, I still have a soft spot for them after my N64 days Smile

though i had my doubt about another Nintendo console, but this time i'm sure i won't be getting it. WTF is that?!? ok IT IS a "REVOLUTION" controller. but apart from game like Zelda and such, what other type of game can you play with that? surly game like a FPS is gonna be poo with a pad like that. Laughing

Already got my 360 pre-order in and am looking forward to that the most, but I think I'll also be getting a Revolution when it comes out. Wink

IGN tried the new controller with a Metroid Prime 2 based Demo, and it's had some good feedback from them. -Sounds like the wand will work like a kind of 3D mouse with the add on analogue stick (see pics above) moving you as the left analogue stick would normally do now! Very Happy

That should make for some seriously accurate and fun FPS controls IMAO!!! Very Happy

-So no worries about the FPS controls redwolf. -It sounds like they've got us covered m8! Very Happy

Seriously need another option: More than One.

I already have the 360 pre-ordered, and the PS3 will be pre-ordered, and the Revo will still likely get my money if it is affordable like they claim.

Well, I'm not going to lie I think these posts are a little bit silly. It is hard to tell from right now what is going to be a better system. I personally have XBOX and PS2 - So I pretty much will buy the PS3 and the XBOX360. Who is only going to buy one console? I pretty sure that most of us here have atleast 2/3 systems - xbox,gamecub,ps2 - Really the question should be: What will you buy first.. .lol. Peace

im going to wait for a clear winner out of those three before picking up any next gen console. and aslo partly because they are quite expensive on launch..

For me, I'll be getting a 360 as soon as possible. After that, probably a revolution - but I will hold off to see if they actually *use* that controller like they say.

As for the PS3 .. well, why would I buy something that for almost all games available on all three platforms, will be half the speed of a revolution, and a third the speed of a 360?

i dont know about you guys... but i honestly im not really impressed by the X360's graphics at the moment.. they look only abit better than current top end PCs.. i could be wrong... and might also because.. its only the early stage of X360.
