Forum Alive Again

We've enabled some semblance of the original forum. You will notice there are currently no sub-categories associated with the main forums. While bringing things back up, I fiddled with the "Categories Hierarchy" mod for phpBB and was disappointed with the incompatibilities I encountered while trying to merge it into phpBB 2.17. phpBB has a history of security hacks and so keeping it secure to protect our user database is of great concern. We can't be spending hours on end toying with the forum when we need to make a quick and simple upgrade.

You may have noticed a slightly different looking login system when entering the website. This is a simplified version of population which essentially allows sister sites to authenticate off the main Team Xlink user database from separate geographic locations. In other words, this forum is not on the same server as the authentication/website server. Why? Well, if this forum gets h4x0red it does not affect Kai. Moreover, by maximizing our hardware and network resources through service distribution and appropriate provisioning we eliminiate single points of failure which will become increasingly significant as we inch closer to the release of Xlink:One (evo8).

The top one is text, the one below that one is supposed to be an image, but the image is either not loading up or the link to it is wrong.

Prestige and the xlink crew.

You guys have done an amazing job in the last week and I can just imagine how much sleep was lost and money spent on calls and bandwidth with emails and the likes going backwards and forwards to get kai up and now the forums with what it seems everything in tact.

As I said b4 in the comments - TD has left an incredible legacy and, me being still a noob i suppose, I am so looking forward to see what the future brings and hope one day I can play with/against you guys and be able to say in person - "What an amazing thing Xlink is" & "Thankyou".

Living in an isolated area on an isolated island, Xlink and the base they have acheived, makes this system very important to me and I would say heaps more.

It looks like it shows the member title twice because the one below is an image that is not showing up, and when it doesn't, it shows the text assigned to the image, which in this case, is the member title.
