Well, I dont know about djveeman's problem but Joy's problem is a power problem. Are your xbox and comp on the same wall circuit, if so then there's your problem. For some odd reason, your computer might be drawing too much power from the circuit and when your share the xbox on the same circuit, it might cause a conflict. When you shut off the xbox, it might cause a power spike(a sudden rush in power flow) and cause the computer to shut off........

Ya, I had the same problem a while back, I just switched the computer to a different outlet and it now works just fine.

I've had this problem before, and found out it only happened if i switched Kai on before i switched my console on.

So switch your console on, then load up Kai and it should work fine.

Also make sure that the config is configured with the right Network Adaptor. Most of the problems with this in the past were with users using W98 or ME. If thats the case you might need to get some updates from M$.

The same thing happens to me when I either turn on Xlink Kai faster than the xbox or when I connect the system link cable while my xbox is running. The computer just shuts down and when it starts back up it says that "a fatal error has occured".
