I Need Help! Beginner Here!

Well, I just got my xbox modded with the new xbox media center, and as soon as i got it I saw xLink kai, then i thought, something like xbox live? then i found out it was, then later that day i hooked my xbox up to the internet and tried to connect, i added my gamer tag and password that i created from the website, but it still wont connect, and im really anxiouse to go online, so please help me, ASAP!

Question #2:

My Modded box has no media, yet i have a bunch of movies and music on my computer, my network is fully setup but i dont know how to transfer them, do i need a program or something??

Check out the XBMC manual.

As for question 2, you need to set up network shares and use Samba (by editing the XboxMediaCenter.xml file in the root of the XBMC folder).

NOTE: You will need to have set up your home network settings in XBMC if you intend on using shares, as well as Kai inside XBMC. IT'S NOT EXACTLY LIKE LIVE, YOU NEED TO HAVE THE KAI ENGINE RUNNING ON A PC ON YOUR NETWORK. XBMC JUST ACTS AS THE KAI UI. DON'T BE FOOLED BY IT.
