Showing All My Contacts Are Offline Why?

Please Help al my contacts that i know are online are being shown as offline in the buddy list. I can even go into an arena and just pick somebody to and to the buddy list then go to the buddy list and it shows them offline. I can even see everybody's ping in the arena. Everything else works I can join arenas and play in games but just cant see my contacts. I have fforwarded port 50000 on UDP and put that in the kai configuration. Somebody please tell me why this is. thanks

If you add someone to your list, just like in AOL, or MSN they have to add you as well in order to see them online.
