Hi,
I can confirm that this still an issue. Please review bug log here.
Please feel free to update the log with more info if you have any.
It's been a while since anyone paid attention to this I guess, since the behavior can be reproduced at will.
Thanks,

WOW... 15 days an no reply to the bug. I'd guess this bug has existed for a while and still has not been fixed and the devs have no even said anything, like "we are aware and fixing it"...
no donations from me until the product works properly... sorry. |

Well as I said in my previous post, devs "are aware..." since there is an official bug report for this. I'm just not certain about the "and fixing it" part.
They probably have bigger fish to fry with the 2.0 release, considering that we (xbmc voice chat users) are probably not a majority and the report was posted almost a year ago.

Sorry, must have missed your post. This is a huge deal for gaming... should be a priority... sux to try to stay on a land phone or cell for several hours while gaming. |

Well, you don't have to stay on the phone, since the chat is taken care of by the game itself once you are in the game lobby.
The voice chat in XBMC is only usefull for coordinating the pre-game.
Even if the chat was working 100% in XBMC, as soon as the game loads, as far as the Xbox is concerned, XBMC doesn't exists anymore.
It just sucks for syslink games with no support for chat (i.e. Lockdown).
