My friend came over, (HAE)ClanGuy and he signed on Xlink and later when I went to sign on it suddenly stopped!! and kept saying looking for kai engine! I have internet working, but KAI WONT!! Later on when I was talkin to Halo-2 he said (hae)clan guy got a temporary ban and since he signed on my computer, i think he got this computer banned! So can u help me out?

i checked on the ips that are currently banned and it doesn't show your as banned....

Have a look over your configuration. It's possible that you've set to run Kai UI, but not Kai Engine (look at the checkboxes).

try loggin in again i deactivated your account and the reactivated it maybe that will trigger somthing

I cant even get to the part where i log in, when i start kai all it says is looking for Kai engine anmd wont do anything else

You're either only starting the UI (look in KaiConfig) - or you've got somefirewall which is preventing the UI finding the engine..

oth the "Launch UI" and "Launch Engine" are checked, could it be Norton Antivirus?

EDIT: I disabled Norton and still have the problem

No problem - Norton is a jackass Smile It's a weird one to spot because it's not immediately obvious that the engine and UI communicate using TCPIP...
