Nice...but some bad reviews in the Xlink Part Crying or Very sad

Quote:
(467) danytoca: An idiotic goal. The DS' non-online multiplayer or LAN games use Nintendo's proprietary RF signal and not WiFi/802.11b, making forwarding DS lan games impossible with a WiFi router connected to a computer as they suggest.

(470) afish: Actually, the DS contains both Nintendo's proprietary format AND 802.11, so it should theoretically work with any wireless router, once someone builds the proper software for it. Personally though, I can't see what Nintendo would use the 802.11 for if it wasn't for online multiplayer via Nintendo hotspots, so Team XLink's services may not even be required when the time comes.

But who cares about them! Laughing But this may be true......

Well sure, but we all know how Ninty thinks about going online! So it's a 50/50 and the question is can you chat and play, cos I do this often with the xbox I chat between races or games.
