HOAX - Santium, hit by drunk driver and killed

"I am sorry to announce that James Blandford (Known as 'santium' online) passed away last night at age 29 when he was hit by a drunk driver on his way home from work. He leaves behind a wife and 2 children.

Santium, since the very beginning, has been an active forum member and avid supporter of the Mimesis project. He will be missed greatly. He was the first ever self proclaimed "Mimesis whore", as his profile so proudly displays even still. He was very knowledgable about webservers and web technologies and became a valuable resource to the Mimesis team while putting this site together. Santium also created the Mimesis config generator, out of the kindness of his heart, for those who didnt want to hassle with the xml config file manually. He always enjoyed helping out in any way that he could. He was a good friend and we were lucky to have had him around. You will be missed, man.

I did not know him, but it is certainly a tragedy to be taken at such a young age.

According to Ramzi on Mimesis, Santium faked his online death. Evil or Very Mad

Ramzi: "He's not really dead. I knew it from the beginning i went to his myspace that he gave me. www.myspace.com/santium . I also seached in myspace.com for his name and it brought me to that myspace. After AC told his "wife" about the myspace the myspace changed to private. I changed the url to get access to his comments and found one of his friends cell numbers. I called it and asked if she knew James Blandford. She said she hung out with him 2 hours before. She said he was a big computer geek and that he mentioned Mimesis. I left her my name and number to give to him. I did a superpages lookup for him and found his number. He lives in Cheseapeake, Virginia. His myspace and reverse lookup show that."

that fucking bastard. I always suspected that it was a hoax, mostly because Santium was such a compulsive liar. He once told me that he was a "trained assassin". He had to quit because "they" told him that he had to kill HIS OWN FATHER!

Another time Santium told me that he helped develop the Linux version of Xlink Kai, so he was a Xlink Moderator. When i became a moderator, that's the first thing i asked the other mods. None of the kai moderators have ever heard of him.

Never believe a word this kid says. LIES LIES LIES!

Haha, this reminds me of the time this 25 year old kid told me he ran special ops for the Army Rangers. Later, I then found out that he never even went near the military and that he had no record in the military when I asked my grandfather if he knew him. lol, at first I thought it was just a secret to hide his identity for security reasons but then my grandfather said that even if it was he'd find it cause he's a captain specialized in military intelligence. Then I went to confront the guy and he had his girlfriend send me a letter saying that he passed overnight right after he had a minor heart murmor. Long story short, I ran into the guy at a gas station a few months back. What an asshole!

I hate people like this and I hate that there's so many people like this out there.
