Hello,

I've been trying to get Xlink Kai working with my v1.6 Xbox. I installed DD-WRT std 2.4 beta (8-28-06, I believe) on my WRT54GS v3.0, and followed the instructions here:

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Kai_Console_Gaming

except for:

"Your primary dashboard MUST be XBMC for these network settings to work properly. If you boot into another dashboard, such as EvoX, and then go into XBMC from that dashboard, the network settings can be messed up, and any trainers you had active on EvoX will mess up XLink Kai in XBMC."

My primary dash is UnleashX and I don't really want to change it. My IP settings in UnleashX are the same as XBMC, so it shouldn't hopefully be an issue.

and

"Also on this page, under the DNS Masq setup, enable "DNS Masq" and "Local DNS". Disable "Loopback" and "Routing", and enable UPNP, then save your changes."

I couldn't find enable UPNP anywhere under the DNS Masq suboption.

Anyway, so once I got all this set up, I went to XBMC, which recognized that Kai was running, and I could see games/chat/friends/etc, but when I hit "Play" (in Halo 2 v1.1) I could not see the game (or ANY game) in the System Link game options.

Where did I go wrong? Has anyone had similar problems running the latest beta DD-WRT? I read the manual and I have no problems using Kai with a connected computer, so what's the deal with my router?

I think it's a bug of the last versions of dd-wrt. I have the same problem.

Goto:
Applications and Gaming (Heading)
uPNP (Subheading)
(ENABLE)

(Keep send presentational url off)
Andf clear entrys each time or you will have a butload of entrys after a week (if you have a good size home net/wirless coming thru)
