I just downloaded Kai for the first time. So I installed it and loaded up the config, then loaded up Kai. Now I'm jus checking the program out and figuring out what everthing means, and I have had 2 random crashes. They happened when I clicked on something (both times different spots), anyone know why? Could it be my computer?

I have the same problem, the engine will disapear without an error message. This happens usually if I am starting a system link game (usually Halo). The game will run for a bit and then the engine will crash. If I run taskmanager, it is no longer a running process. |

Well in my case, I would click on Rainbow Six 3....and then my whole computer would just completely turn off, then I just stare at my screen trying to hold in my anger, then I turn it back on, and it does it again... quite a deadly loop whole actually. lol. |

I run Kai and MSN Messenger at the same time all the time together! Why would MSN Messenger have anything to do with Kai?
try this..........
Uninstall Kai (Delete any remaining files, if any)
Uninstall WinPcap
Reboot
Download the Kai installer
Install Kai
Run Kai
Let it download any updates and start the Winpcap installer
Reboot
Try geting Kai up and running again!
Hope this helps, if not just watch for updates as all the bugs have been loged, unless you find something new or have some extra info that may be helpful to figuring out what is causing the problem
Please keep the forum clean of repeat posts, it gets old and hard to keep track of who has what problem when the post goes off the origonal topic. |
