Use the blue (?) button inside Kai for future reference.

You need to port-forward. It is thoroughly documented in the Help sections why / how / when.

http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/?go=faq

(I also suggest goign back into Kai, press the help button and reading up on Diagnostics Mode)

What OS are you running? WinXP defaults it's firewall on during the install so make sure that it is off if you are using XP.

And the port is entered in the Kai Configuration Tool under 'Kai Port'?

Any firewalls running? If so can you close them down and try it again? Also make sure that the port 30000 is forwarded to the PC that Xlink Kai is installed on. Maybe also try changing the network adapter in the Xlink Kai config tool to your computers NIC instead of "auto detect and lock".

If you are using ports to get Kai working they have to be set for the computer with Xlink Kai Evo7 installed on it.

yeah I'm sure... =o\ I got it to work once before with the old kai but when I tried the day after it wouldn't work... I'm sure it's me who have screwed something up but I can't figure out what... I've read all the faq's and help sections but I can't find out why it won't list any games

Do the users in the room see your ping? Do you see theirs? Can you find you’re Xbox and the network is reachable under the Kai diagnostics?

Well, i'm having the exact same problem. My network is unreachable, i have the ports forwarded correctly, (it was working before the saturday re-haul thing), i can talk to everyone AND see their ping, it's that no one can see mine or connect to me. I haven't changed any of my network options since it used to work, which leads me to believe it may have something to do with this update. I hope that is not the case.

Kai also can detect my ps2 just fine, there is no problem on that end.

I'm running my router through a usb port, and my ps2 is connected to my PC via an ethernet port on it. All of this was working before the update.

Edit: I'm running win2k, all the firewalls are off.

Hi, i'm running a Firewall with NAT.

I've added port 30000 UDP in the kai config.

I've mapped port 30000 UDP to my internal kai PC.

Xbox detects ok, Network card locked, orbital ok.

Still i get Reachable: Not yet, and no games can be found by Halo.

What gives?

/Z

Do THEY see YOUR ping. It's the other way around. Seeing other people's pings means THEIR connections are working, nothing to do with yours..
