question about games on hard drive

hey guy's wat's up .why does my game fliker on the screen when I try to load a game from the hard drive?(splinter cell double agent) everything is hooked up but I canot play my game . do you have to have xbox live? thanx Crying or Very sad

Make sure you have copied all the required files from the game disk, onto the hard drive, for example (E:/Apps/SCDA/). Just a basic .xbe wont just do.

You do not need Xbox Live.

flicker as in a black a white scrolling effect ? .. its most likely a PAL game and you have an NTSC console .. get XBMC as your dash , it has auto region swtiching ..
