XBox Name Change

In this post, I'll explain how to change your XBox's name.
*I can only see how this'd be cool if you were playing Halo: Combat Evolved System Link*

Alright, first thing you'll notice when in a system link on Halo: Combat Evolved is your Xbox's name which ranges from (Based on what I've seen):
Stumpy, Sneak, Snake, etc

Here is what you'll need (Based on what I have, I am not sure if you can do this with the regular Micro$oft Dashboard):

1. Evolution X or any other dashboard
2. FTP Client

Once you have EvoX installed, use your FTP client to your Xbox, go to folder "E" on your dashboard.
Then go into UData to find a file called: NICKNAME.XBN

Drag this file onto your desktop of your computer and right click on it and edit it with "Wordpad".
Here is how it should look once you've edited it with the name you want:

Now save it and overwrite your existing NICKNAME.XBN on your xbox, get on Halo: Combat Evolved or which ever game you play that shows your Xbox name.

Most custom dashboards allow a custom system name in their settings menu. You can revert from a custom dashboard, too.
