I've checked and searched all related threads and came up with nothing, everything seems a bit outdated (no offense intended).

My problem is I've set up everything, diagnostics will show my PSP is successfully configured and connected but in the arena list, I do not show up as a connected player.

My laptop is an Acer Aspire 4937G, using Intel Wifi Link 5100 that supposedly works. My router is a D-Link Dir-300 with ports forwarded. I even tried cabled directly to my DSL modem. My ethernet controller is an Atheros AR8121/8113/8114 PCI-E

Any help would be most appreciated, please and thank you.

I've installed xlink and tried to get it to work in anticipation of MHFU. Malaysians have no appreciation for the game, spent a year finding players for MHF2, and I figured instead of spending more months trying to find a local group to play with, I'd join here instead.

Most help posts always ends up with "your card no work buy another", and the thread dies, no further responses. Some of us may have already spent too much to try get online and would just like to make use of what we already have, even if it means hacking some code and rewiring drivers.

For a bunch of techwizzes who tunneled the world with an internet gaming system, you'd think there'd be more dedicated team of specialists to help figure things out instead of posting in a forum and hope someone has a good idea.
