It does do DHCP. But because the 1 port is hooked up to a router, it makes a mess of things. If it was a hub / switch, things would have been much simpler. Doesn't matter now though, he's solved the problem and didn't need to buy anything (he was even going to call me to get it fixed )

Damn nice work Raf. I tried everything but that and that pisses me off. I was baffled about the same thing but never cared to see where the breakdown is. Is there a freeware net scan tool that will tell us where the block is? Almost like a time out but for ports?
