XLink Kai Locking up

Just got able to get XLink Kai to work but went I go to the Arenas click on First Person Shooter go to the first game & locks up unable to scroll up or down also not way to get out of it unless I restart my xbox then reload XLink Kai, How can I get to other game also I'm new here & to modding do I need the game disk to play?

Try reinstalling kai.

Where would i find it or do I need to copy over XBMC again I looked in the folder can't find it anywhere

make sure kai works on your PC before using XBMC ..

load halo2 , go to system link .. than load kai on your PC .. click the globe at the top , navigate to an arena and play ..

I don't have Halo2 game I'll have to get it later this week and then give this a try.

or whatever game you have .. i just picked halo2 because most people play it ..

Mine does exactly the same.

I have tried XMBC 30-09-2007 and XBMC 23-09-2007 T3CH SVN editions and reinstalled Kai.

I'm using the default skin and connected to a server.

I can connect using the PC UI. I have to stop the KAI engine on the PC or my XBox locks every time I load XMBC.

I'm not even trying Halo 2, so it's not that. As soon as I go to Arena's on First Person it locks.

go into the XBMC options / programs and under xlink kai disable kai notifications ..

That worked for a second, then I went to racers and flyers, Carve came up as the game and it crashed again. I had to stop Kai on the PC for the XBMC to work again.

Dunno if this would help, but use Wincap... theres is a tread with help..., Sorry I`m in a rush...

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean. When I googled Wincap, it's an application that captures screenshots.

Same problem here. I tried with Winpcap and have the same problem. If I disable xlink in XBMC and use KAI in PC work like a charm.

hmm...I might be misunderstanding the problem here, but try to go into Kai config and select your profile as "engine only (for dashboards)."

the pc UI should not be running at the same time as the xbmc UI...

usually it would automatically close out the pc UI, but it may be different in your case for some reason, so just set it to engine only and try that

Yes, it looks like a problem with Xbox Kai.
