Users with homebrew consoles, please see the next post
Please Notice:
All 360 games have a ping limit on them that won't allow you to join the game if the host's ping is over 30ms* to you. So before you ask here why you can't play the game please check the ping first of the host as that may be the problem.
XBOX1 games played on the 360 in the XBOX1 arenas will play as normal with no ping limit .. example: halo2 works fine.
ping is the time it takes data to get from you to another user and back..
you don't have a set ping , it varies to every user ..
distance is the main factor in your ping .. the further you live from the person your playing with the higher the ping will be ..
you can help your ping by closing all other apps that use the internet .. msn, aim, torrents etc ..
their is no other app that will get around this limit, they all suffer from the same issue even when some claim to not (leaf...) so don't ask.
we have divided up the 360 arenas to attempt to help users locate gamers close to them .. also check the stickies in the 360 section of the forum for some local threads..
read the XLink manual here .. http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26424
*30ms is not an exact number , it may vary from game to game. |

This is what many have tried and none succeeded...

What is this?
================================================================================
This patch will remove the 30ms check on the key exchange from xbox to xbox
over system link. This was known as the "30ms ping limit". It seems that only
the client needs the patch.
1) Make sure you have Dashlaunch v1.0 installed.
2) Place Kxam.patch in the root of usb or hdd.
Hopefully this will encourage people to stay off of xbox live with hacked xboxs
as there is no real reason for it.
================================================================================
Usage
================================================================================
- FreeBoot 0.032 with DashLaunch 1.0 (kernel 9199)
- An internal harddrive and/or usb stick (check DashLaunch 1.0 readme)
- The file from this release on the root of it (kxam.patch)
- Power up Xlink Kai
- And see you online!
================================================================================
Known Bugs?
================================================================================
None really, its possible some games have internal Pinglimits..
They'll need to be removed by doing MemoryPatches (gametrainer per example).
================================================================================
ChangeLog
================================================================================
V0.01
-first release
================================================================================
Disclaimer
================================================================================
We, the creators, have nothing to do with freeboot, or the making of
DashLaunch, but we don't want to make a support channel so use theirs.
