Sorry, I tried to use the help request form but the link to it doesn't work...anyway here is a summary of the problem.

Kai has been crashing almost every time I try and load it up. This has been happening since Kai was down for a few days a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes when I reboot my pc I can get Kai to start up but I can't connect to any games. I can see the games on my xbox but when I try to connect I receive a game not available message.
Here is what I have tried. It's strange as I haven't changed anything on my pc since Kai went down, it is the same set up and software as before. Anyway here is some vital stats (keep in mind that this set up was working 100% fine before Kai went down for a few days..I never had a problem with it).
Network:
Netgear DG834gt wireless modem/router
PC- connected wirelessly to my modem/router
Xbox- connected to another netgear DG834g which is connected to my PC (I did this so I could hardwire my xbox to my pc without buying a cross over)
In the PC I have used XP bridge connections to bridge the Nic card with the wirelss nic card. This makes a virtual NIC card (mac port) which I configure Kai to recognize. This was the only way I could get my xbox on the net using this configuration.
I have DMZ'd my PC in the wirless router.
I usually have the kai engine running on my pc and use my laptop for the Kai UI.
This set up worked 100% fine before Kai went down

More Vital Information:
Kai Diagnosis- Xbox is detected and I am connected to a server and getting no port forward errors or messages.

Here is what I have done to troubleshoot:
1. Run everything just on my pc .. Kai UI and Engine.
2. Shut down all antivirus software
3. Uninstalled, deleted the kai folder and reinstalled.
4. Checked to make sure the correct nic card is registered in kai settings
5. Tried different rooms (to make sure it's not a ping problem..and it's not as I can't connect to people with a ping below 30)
6. Looked in the forums for a common problem..but couldn't find one where the person was getting positives from all the diagnostics, was seeing games on their xbox but couldn't connect (most people had ping problems..lol)

Remember that Kai is giving me errors all the time on start up and this happens on both my laptop and my pc. Which is strange as they have entirely different softwar running on them.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this problem.

Thanks

copy all those files into the xlink directory and overwrite them all .. load kai config and select your network card instead of autodetect .. let us know ..

I forgot to mention that i've already tried that (saw it in another post). I always set the config to the network card that I want it to use....in my case it's the macbridge that is created once you bridge two network cards together. I know that's the one because that's what I was using before.
