When posting, always state your location, otherwise people will not know if the game would be playable |

Hello,
I live in Wake Forest, NC and I would like to play Double Dash on-line. First I need help configuring my Linksys WRT54GS router to play with this newer version of X-Link.
I used to play Armored Core: Last Raven on my PS2 via X-Link but that was a long time ago with the old version of X-Link and my old wired Linksys router. I vaguely recall having to do some port forwarding or something but I forgot what I did. Actually some really nice person talked me through configuring my router while I was on X-Link chat. Yeah, I could chat but I couldn’t play games until this helpful person set me straight. |

Whats your speed on internet?
I live in Californina, so if you dont have good internets we will have slo-mo lag if its too high.
You can test it here http://www.speedtest.net/ if you dont know and paste your results or you can just say what it is.
Heres mine:

Hmm, Might be possible without lag or a little lag, do you have an MSN and/or Yahoo and/or Xfire? |

Let's give it a shot, what do we have to lose? Just PM me your phone number and I call you to set things up.
If it doesn't work thru X-Link we can even try Warp Pipe as a last resort. |

hey, mates! got ngc+mkdd+bba pal version along with crossedlink and ethernet card. I know my pc recognizes my console via wire network when I switch her on. Still, I haven't connected the ngc to a monitor, so I don't know if she ask me for my ip address or something. That's probably why I've never seen any ngc connected to my xlink kai. I'll make it good if somebody else is ready to connect.
All this to say I'm ok to play if you're ready. We just need to organise a little, indicating at what moment u r ready to play. I'd say I'd like to play almost 1 hour, around 18h or 21h but it depends on my opponents, too of course. Maybe it should b easier if we get in touch : wurlz@hotmail.com.

Pal Version?? Dang, Then you need to find someone with a pal Gamecube and everything else. Most of the people who play GC Lan are NSTC versions (I think). Sorry |

The reason you do not hear much about people tunneling this game is that gamecube games tunnel badly. As in, the frame rate takes a humongous hit so it can look like you are watching a slide show. So unless you and the person you are playing with live close or have insanely fast internet the game will be unplayable. For example, me and Nosferatu live in Northern California about 60 miles away from each other. He has very very fast internet like 6.0 mbps so our game tunneled fine. But we tried tunneling with a guy in Canada and the frame rate dropped to like 5 frames a second. |
