well obviously i like XBL way better but kai is free so i like kai too what do u guys think?

Yeah XBL offers the best in pay to play online gaming with many great features.

Kai has the best community anywhere. No where else can you find people like on Xlink.

Id say its a tie ball game.

hmm Xlink Kai is awsome cause im in a great clan "[1up]" but then when you goto XBL there is more people and clans but in the end Xlink Kai is free and it has Admins And Moderators that can help you as when your on XBL its really hard to get help if you have a problem. Xlink Kai is the only thing im using.

I have both live and kai, but i find myself spending more time on xlink kai.

XBox Live by a longshot... marketplace, unified network, movie rentals, trailers in HD and E3 content, new game updates and content along with game demos and previews.
Live beats kai by a longshot hands down.

Live users also have some buzz about kai (from kai users) and some people say how they hated the corrupt kai staff and are surprised kai hasn't shutdown by now. (yes people openly say the majority of kai staff isnt fair and powertripped)
i'm just the messenger though.

Live wins by a longshot however due to better service and content.

who gives a shit .. kai is a free service run for free by people in their spare time .. xbox live is run by a multinational billion dollar corporation with 1000's of full time employees .. how can you compare them!?

i like the comment on the powertrippin mods and admins .. you got it wrong tho , its not all of us its just one admin .. :]

Well Microsoft implemented arbitrary limiting code in the 360 development environment to shut out non-live game play. Of course this pisses us off, but you have to ask yourself why is Microsoft is threatened by free alternative solutions to their proprietary gaming network?

Could it be the richest company on the planet is afraid to compete?

this network took alot of their Halo 2 users i suppose when they found out they could play for free and it ruins their business model when you can play their brand of console for free when they want their brand to be strictly pay.. online should be and has always been free with the face price of nearly all PC games since the beginning (except MMOs)

I highly disagree. I have had no problems with any "unfair" or mods that are on a "powertrip". I would say the people who have told you this are probably those who dont read the forum rules then make dumb mistakes and then they get flamed for it.

But you also have to look at why XBL has so much more to offer: Its a paid subscription service. By a business stand point xlink is trying to compete with Live. They just offer a free alternative to Live. If you look at it, what the team has accomplished is quite innovative. Yes Live is the best online service but i like Kai better Razz

Sounds like banned crybaby noobs to me.....Xlink Kai is the best service to PLAY games on in my opinion, if you have a host that can accommodate the amount of people in the game. It destroys MM on XBL because of its quick and easy pace to getting in and out and back into another game. Kai rapes.

I love kai but there is one thing that XBL got that kai doesnt have which is that you can get a game goin real fast and with a good host 90% of the time. You dont have to sit here and wait for someone or bother someone with a good host like you see all of iTs do to Jonny,Legend and when he gets back KILLA LOL. So...you really think Live has better service? That statement I probably find the most interesting, but I don't feel that I need to go into detail as to why it is completely wrong cuz I think you know yourself already, you just enjoy turning the tables in a convo for experimentation

Your mentioned features include:

The Marketplace, which includes all demos/downloads/trailers... who the f*ck needs that to hook up with their best buds and play a fun game of ghost recon/halo 2 whatever they want for free?

Unified Network --Kai isn't unified? oh you're right, it's not a unified network at all, it's an AWESOME unified network...

Movie Rentals --wtf? it's called netflix, or mustering up the energy to turn the key in that ignition and drive down the road to your local blockbuster...

XBL is a waist of money for me even though there are lots of things u can do that u cant do on kai but there are things like movie rentals where nobody needs it i agree with kov

Xlink kai is good for meeting new friends and yet asshole too.

XBL is awesome for multiplayer. Dont have to play with the SAME old poeple over and over. To mush lag on kai also.
And not yet to metntion you get banned and Qa'ed for anything!

But yeah I have no problem paying 50 dollars a year. Smile

if 360 was working on kai i would never have switched to xbl. when it comes to the original xbox, kai all the way.
