Hi all,

I am very new and interested to buy a xbox360 and play on kai. Following re some of the questions that I would find out more,

1. there is no any guide how to connect xbox 360 to xlink, can I use both wire or wireless method?

2. Do I need any wireless hardware? I only need a wireless adapter for xbox 360 and it will connect to any brand of router? Do I need a separate planex usb adapter for PC to connect like PSP?

3. Can a modded xbox 360 play online backup games via xlink?

4. I only need xlink ID? I do not require xbox live ID?

5. I only c 8 users in xbox 360 section in my kai game arena list, is it because of the 30ms ping limit or very little ppl play on xlink for xbox 360? The PSP showed 1402 users and xbox showed 35 users.

Nice job there lowbrass. I see where Roti is coming from... Sometimes it is hard to just find some of the topics. Those topics should help you out enough. If you need anymore help find me on Kai. I'll help you out.

I didn't know you could mod a 360... What do you have in it? I don't see why it wouldn't let you play online. My Xbox1 has a bunch of modded equipment and I play off my hard drive.

1. Connect the 360 the same way(s) as the original Xbox was in the diagram.

2. XLink cannot detect or punish you for using modified firmware to play your backup games. So yes, it can...

But xbox live can so be carefull if you mod and use xbox live. The punishment from live will be a perma-ban <edit> on the modded xbox </edit>

Actually brass, they don't ban the account used, they ban the xbox console itself. The account is still fully functional on any other xbox, meaning you'd have to buy another system, or play on some other one.

My bad. fixed. Never knew cuz ive never had read up on it or had a 360 perma-banned.

Yeah I got perma-banned. Its easy to fix if you knwo what you're doing with those eeprom settings... Wink
