I was trying to get it setup with TONY52 and we both kept getting booted back to the briefing section. We haven't gotten it to work so I would like to hear from people who got it to work and play for more than 2 mins.
otherwise, the program is great!! I was playing my xbox with other players. thanks for gracing us all with Kai!! |

there is no cross-platforming gaming, if I understood you correctly.
I guess they're still tinkering with PS2. The xbox connection is flawless. I'll keep playing PS2 Online for now until Kai is resolved. |

Perhaps all the problems with not seeing the rooms in the lan briefing room, are because like the online version of the games A pal socomII can only connect to a pal SocomII and an ntsc can only play an ntsc boring I know, But the more people that know about xlink the more people you will have to play against.
And i dont know but you cant play an ntsc version of any any game on a modded pal console on line either, So its a case of pal console, pal game..
Just my 2 cents, perhaps we should give this ago, and if its the case one of the admins in charge of ps2 arenas can go split them into pal and ntsc...
my 2 cents |

Tony52 and I both had retail versions of the game (store bought), and are both NTSC. During our test last night, I briefly saw his name flash on the room I created, but was then ejected back to the briefing room after trying to log on. |

Ya i play socom 2 ($ony's Servers) under the tag name (PhD) Audio and on the Kai Network Audio and i told a few of my clan mates about it and they signed up and we played some games on the Kai network and its nice we are thinking if it works out good that we will host more games and maybe even have clan wars here but i dont know.
We just need to get more people on the kai network.
Could there be a server so that we could jump from room to room with in the lan option of the game ?

Hi all, the socomII room on Kai now has 2 extra subrooms, SO it cuts down some of the problems that people have trying to play can People please make sure they use the correct room PAL or NTSC not the main room, That way it makes it easy for Newbies as well, to cut down on problems.
Thanks, If you need help and im about on kai, Just ask.
