When i had a xbox it was XBMC .
I own a xbox 360 now and it's not modded because of XBL . |

I have a doubt about XBMC tho

like i have a user and login password but i dont no where to get it

MC360 for XBMC is only a stream dash, you can only stream things back and forth like youtube etc |

Ive just downloaded Unleash X,
EviLoader, Neodash , Dash 2 GAM, and UIX.
They are all options.
Unleash X, nice user interface slightly old-ish looking.
NeoDash, User friendly, mainly for begginers who are looking for something easy to use.
EviLoader, I wouldnt even call it a dashboard, its mainly a development tool for xbox apps.
UIX, its for users looking for emulators, (I HATE THOSE DAMN MENUS).
Finally
Dash 2 GAM, same as NeoDash,user friendly but the damn menus are slow
It would have been much better if it were faster, it almost loooks like your xbox is going to crash.
If you want a guide to any Dashboard, you know what to do.

I used the game save exploit along with Splinter Cell to soft mod my XBox and use XBMC <3, upgraded HDD to 40GB to back up my games...need a bigger one though, 160-250GB should be sufficient seeing as how all my games wont fit on the 40GB but I had it lying around so why not :p

Where do I find the BackUp Option in XMBC?
In EvoX Dash it's in System Utils --> Back Up, where do I find this in XBMC?
I mean to get those 5 Files, that give me the HD Key and what ever else I need to back up my HD.

I know this seems to be a XBMC thread but I'm a huge fan of UnleashX. Don't get me wrong, I use XBMC nightly (when I'm going to sleep and watching something from my comp).
I feel that for everyday dashboard use it's a little bloated. My main issue is that it seems to always "hiccup" when loading the programs. What I mean by that is that XBMC when I go to programs always hesitates for a couple seconds (never more than 10) to see what programs I have loaded, while UnleashX is just far faster. Like I said, XBMC is a great app, but I think it's too bloated to be my dash. |
