How you might be able to fix this problem

Step 1: Un-install XLink

Step 2: Delete the XLink Kai folder from
C:/Program Files/

Also delete the folder from

Windows XP
C:\documents settings\user\application data\xlink kai
Windows Vista
C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\

Step 3: Download a fresh copy from here...
http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/binary/XLinkKai-7.4.18-win32.msi

Step 4: Install it and once installed goto Start/All Programs/XLink Kai and click on Configure Kai
