Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a port-forward? Yes
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup: Linksys BEFW11S4 wireless-B router, connected to a hub/switch, and then to my PC and xbox.
Do you use a software firewall? Yes
What brand? Zonealarm
Have you made any changes to it? No
Operating System? WindowsXP Pro + SP1
Problem description? I ran kai, then I accidently disconnected the network cable. I plugged it back in, and i could not get on Kai anymore, i tried reinstalling it, restarted, etc.
The error message is 'Your orbital server connection was lost. You need to restart kai. nubmer of reasons.. blah blah blah'

Okay change your kaiNIC to the one in your computer i.e. kaiNIC=3+. Also you say yes you have a force port, but yet in the kai config you have the Kai port set to 0. If you are using a port forward, change the Kai port to the open port i.e. 30000 and leave the Kai deep port at 0. Report back when done. |

Only thing wrong there is you should be saying kaiNIC = 2+ (which he has already done). Computers begin counting from 0, and so do we Follow the other instructions though (about the missing number in the Kai Config. Tool) |

Okay well why cant we just change the damn kaiNIC to a name like it is instead of a number. |

Oh Funk - someday you'll learn how to write code and it will all make sense.
The number values are much easier to read and parse into integers, which can then be used as variables. If we were listing every different NIC you'd have to create routines to parse every possible NIC name in the world and convert it to a variable or property.
