Is your network reachable? No
Are you using a port-forward? Yes, 30000 and 3074, both UDP
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup: Motorola CableModem -> D-link 614+ wireless router, although my pc and xbox are both connected to the router via CAT5 cable at the moment.
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? No
Operating System? Win XP Pro, SP2
Problem description? Network unreachable... I can sometimes get users pings (in an arena). however, I can't see any games on my xbox console. Xlink Kai chat works normally. Thanks in advance for assistance...

Can you screenshot your router port-forwarding page? Host it on http://www.imageshack.us if you have nowhere else. Cheers.
BTW, get rid of the port 3074 UDP port-forward, it's not needed. |

That router is listed on www.portforward.com - I know becuase I have the same one. It works with just a single port forward - 30000 should do the trick. |

Thanks for the quick reply guys...
Well, now i'm really confused. I rechecked my port forwarding, and ensured that only 30000 udp was forwarded, and it all looks to be done correctly. This isn't my 1st experience with opening various ports, so I'm pretty sure I'm opening them properly. Also I followed the portforward.com guide to ensure correct router setup. Well, still get the 'network unreachable' from xlink kai.
I can't tell what exactly is going on, but here's the requested pic.

I don’t think you need to port forward with that router. Make sure you are in arena mode with the XBox on in system link mode when checking your online status. Report back when done. |

At last it works! I don't really know what happened, because I didn't change anything in my router setup or xlink setup. I rebooted my router a couple of times, restarted computer and xbox, and finally got the network reachable. Anyway, thanks a lot for all the assistance. It's awesome you guys take so much time to help folks get this program running. |
