Is your network reachable? No
Are you using a port-forward? Yes/No I dont understand it
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup: I'm running WinXp home SP2. I have a D-Link 604 router that is connected to my PC and my Xbox with RJ-54 Cat 5 patch cables.
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? I use Zone Alarm. It is disabled right now, but i need it to allow XLink to access the net.
Operating System? XP home SP2
Problem description? On the XLink Kai diagnostic page it says Network Reachable: Not Yet. I cant figure out how to fix this. Also on my xbmc my game do not show up in the list. I am running games off the hard drive.

Your private IP address is not correct.
Click Start - then Run.
Type CMD and press enter.
Type IPCONFIG and press enter.
That is the IP address you use in the router config for Private IP address.
For the protocol change it from BOTH to UDP.
In Kai Config change the value of Kai Port to 30000
That should fix your problems, hopefully. Let us know if it doesn't.

Ok i changed what you told me to and i'm still getting Network Reachable: Not Yet. And after changing the IP in the router settings on my Kai diag page it still shows this IP 24.203.111.240
On my xbox i have the settings as follows
IP: 192.168.1.5
Default Gateway: 24.203.111.240
would you suggest i change anything in there?

Using port 21 as a port-forward is not recommended (especially if you end up setting an FTP server on your home network )
It will do the job, just in the future keep that in mind. We suggest 30000 UDP because it's high and it's a private class.
