Okay first off you need to open a port for Kai. Log into your router and open 30000 UDP for the IP of the computer running the Kai application. Then open the XLink Kai config tool and set the Kai port to 30000 and log back in. Report back when done.

If you have MSN 6.2 or better and WinXP you can allow someone to get into your computer. Can you send me an invite of you have this and I will get you sorted?

Make sure you're going into Arena mode before checking network reachable. You said it used to work but not now, so make sure you're doing that first (entering Arena mode).
That leaves you with the problem that the XBox is not being detected. Are you positive you've configured that WGA correctly? There should be an option on the control panel that it has to do MAC address cloning. If there is, just put the MAC address of the XBox as the address of the WGA.
