Is your network reachable?
Yes
Are you using a port-forward?
Don't know
Is your console being detected?
Yes but not configured
Brief description of your network setup:
Gamecube connected to my PC's network card with a crossover cable
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it?
Yes, Sygate Personal Firewall Pro. Haven't made any changes to it.
Operating System?
Windows XP Home Edition (Service Pack 2)
Problem description?
Every time I enter LAN mode in Mario Kart, the GC is detected but I keep getting the configuration error. I've tried doing as much as I can from the Troubleshooting sticky. |

Also, go into the settings of your sygate firewall and disable driver level detection. |

Wow, thanks DIE-HARD, that seems to have done the trick. It's configured successfully. Now for the hard work, finding someone to play near me who actually has a GC |

If you hover the mouse over the checkbox on 'Driver Level Protection', it tells you what it does. |
