I keep getting this message after the program activates the message
"Detaching from Engine", Communications between UI and Engine appear to have stopped responding. Is the engine still running? Please refresh your web browser to proceed", and 2 seconds later I am able to connect to kai again. I am using the OSX version of Kai, as well I am using a wireless router to connect. If I could get any help that would be great, thanks.

try port forwarding, if not, its probably your internet connection.
try going to speedtest.net and testing your bandwith and see if it meets the standards for kai.
