Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a port-forward? No
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup: Secondary NIC connected via X-over cable and ics enabled
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? Yes, Zone Alarm, No
Operating System? Windows XP SP2
Problem description? If I have the engine running, and I turn my xbox on to kick off connectivity, I recieve a blue screen displaying BAD_POOL_CALLER, however if I turn it on prior to loading the engine, works fine, but if I turn it off when program is active, it gives me the same blue screen...
Just wondering if anyone else suffers the same... |

Make sure all of your hardware is up to date with the drivers. Go to windows update and search for drivers for your NIC. |

I'll update to the latest drivers and get back to you ...
And if I close the engine and then turn off my xbox (disconnect) it does not blue screen, so it is definately something with the program ... |

I've resolved this myself after further investigation, it seems because I bridged my 2 connections (2nd PC and Xbox) together and shared with ICS to the bridged mini-port, it caused the aforementioned blue screen, now I have resolved it by removing the bridge and reconfiguring my 2nd PC to have static IPs (it doesnt NEED internet anyways as its a filestore) and have only my Xbox shared to on ICS, now I recieve no errors
Thanks for the help anyways |

Well it had my main PC, 2nd PC and Xbox all connected to the internet, so I was thinking Yay .... lol
Anyways the only problem I have now is that whilst my xbox is online ... I cannot contact my 2nd PC, yet when its off I can...oooh the mysteries of networking lol. |

I have a cheap hub lol, thats how I'm connected to my 2nd PC, but my Xbox is through X-over cable, I think therein lies the problem, but I don't wanna buy anything else, no big anyways
