Help request:

Is your network reachable? Not Yet
Are you using a port-forward? yes
Is your console being detected? yes
Brief description of your network setup:Wired Lan. Wireless broadband, router unknown, controlled by ISP. Some sort of linux box.
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? Disabled
Operating System? Windows XP
Problem description? Cant get network reachable. See below

[KaiUserConfig]
kaiUsername=*
kaiPassword=*
kaiPort=9056
kaiDeepPort=0
kaiAccept=LOCAL
kaiTimeout=NOUI
kaiNIC=2
kaiLaunch=BOTH
kaiHomebrew=OFF

kaiUI=Default

Just set up Xlink Kai to try and play across my broadband connection.

I have a wireless broadband connection , but am on a wired lan.

XBOX connected to Xlink KAi through ethernet. Can detect XBOX OK.

In the diagnostics mode the Network reachable reads "not yet".

My ISP control the router on the hill and I have discussed my problem with them and they tell me they have port forwarded on a particular port 9056 on TCP and UDP as I have requested but it is still not reachable.

Is there any way for me to tell if the port forwarding is working. They have only recently set this wireless broadband service up and I dont believe there are any other users trying to do this. I have had no problems doing peer to peer stuff.

Can see all arenas and ping results. Does this mean it is working. XBOX doesnt see any games when it appears people are hosting an waiting. Being trying halo 2.

Any suggestions would be great. I can PM anybody my public IP and port if that will help.

Turn PAT off. That should do the trick.
