ports are forward but kai doesn't get network

i have a thomson tg787 router and i'm sick and tired of trying to open ports, so i was blaming the router, but after checking if the utorrent ports were open i tried to use the same ports with kai and it simply didn't work. i used this site: http://www.whatsmyip.org/ports/ to check the ports and when utorrent is working, the ports ar open and when i use kai it simply timesout.
any help is appreciated.

did you add the port to the kai config ? .. did you go to arena mode to see if it works ? ..

yes i did that, my friends see me establishing, i also set kai port to zero and enable my router upnp. and still no luck i'm getting desperate Sad

i usally sort things out but this time... i don't know what to do!

do you have any other firewalls running ? XP , norton etc ? ..

i have disable the xp firewall and this no luck!

which version of kai are you using , 7.4 ? .. its the only version that supports UPnP ..

can you post some screenshots of your forward / settings ? ..

i could also remote into you PC with msn and have a look at it ..

you are clicking on the arenas icon and than checking network reachable tho right ?

Instead of having Kai auto detect the network adapter set it to the router connection and use UDP:30000

ok so i managed to get kai network reachable by opening ports: 3000 udp and tcp and 8602 tcp and udp but now kai doesn't detect my xbox! Sad

That would be because of the Network Adapter change if you made it, just set the network adapter to the Xbox connection and it should stay reachable

strange thing network says reachable but if i test the port its say it's closed! and i haven't done what u said! i might format my pc!

Hmm thompson router, is that like the BT home hub? if so they are terrible for kai. I had one and i could never get the ports to stay open!

If you haven't already, you could try updating the firmware.
