First, you need to know that "Host" and "Join" mission are very, very different things. Host sends out a signal; Join simply listens. Also, given five to ten seconds of no data transferring, the PC will automatically disconnect the PSP from its network(As the PSP isn't actually sending or recieving data). Therefore:
Step one: Both players need to Host. This is -necessary-!
Step two: While hosting, go to your wireless network connections quickly and manually connect the PC with the PSP. This is also necessary; the window for searching is too narrow to automatically connect.
Step Three: After no players are found, the host must host again with great speed, and the second player must hit 'join' with similar haste.
If all goes well, you should now be connected. Remember: Your PC and PSP will unhook after about 5-10 seconds of inactivity between battles, so you need to be fairly rapid. That said, during battles you don't need to worry about this, it seems; I've taken upwards of a minute to make a move and it hasn't disconnected me from my partner. |
