hey , so if you want to schedule some times to play ps2 games go here, playstation2.onlineconsoles.com There is a game orgnanization section where you can post what game and when you want to play. You can also add to your profile which ps2 tunnable games you have so people will know.

Heh, well for xlink you cannot expect to jump into a game with no notice you have to plan out games b4 hand or get meet up on instant messengers and start a game.

I am available to play this later today actually. If you want any of my messengers pm me and I will give them to you. I have msn,aim, jabber/gchat, xfire.

Ok I added you on xlink. Check out www.onlineconsoles.com that is where a lot of ps2 xlink players hang out. On the ps2 site click "game organization" at the top of the page, here we post up when we are going to play a game.

i just found out about this recently through youtube. Is the LAN gaming same as online play like before where you create a game and wait?

I dont know exactly what you mean since I never got to play this when its online servers were up. I just have played for 2 years through Xlink. But yes, it lets you host a game and then when other people show up in the LAN mode of the game they will see it.

The thing is, can anyone find a game I host? I've tried all sorts of settings. Or do the players have to be my contacts or something?

I can host a game and leave it on with unlimited kills just for the sake of it. If I get this to work, 2 of my friends are literally aching to find out.
