heres the problem. start kaid on my mac upstairs. everything set with packet sniffer. then connect kai via my xbmc. all good. then i go into a halo 2 arena and see like 4/12 people, and they all have the joystick icon by their name, hence they are playing. then i click play, the game loads and i log in with my profile. i go to system link from the halo 2 screen menu and there are no active games available. at my buddies house he doesnt have this problem and he has the same setup i have other than the fact that he is running the gui version of kai on his pc, and i am running the alpha version of kaid on my mac

And that's a big difference (win32 vs. mac)
Don't know if there's any issues with what's going on, but I think you can't play with users of the Windows engine right now (fixed in 7.0.0.3 which will be released some day soon).
