This is what I get after putting the wireless connection (The Planex device: GW-US54Mini2W) in AD HOC mode.

On my taskbar, it will connect when I choose the option "ANY AVAILABLE NETWORK - ACCESS POINT PREFERRED) but when I switch it to "connect to computer to computer" it will disconnect and give me that error. What am I doing wrong?

I have not port forward, and my xlink settings look like this.

So for now, I kept both connections (my local and the planex device) to OBTAIN ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY. I'm stuck and have no idea where to go from there.

A couple of things:

You do not need to put the adapter in Ad Hoc mode. Make sure you install the planex utility during driver installation and use it when trying to connect with your PSP.

Make sure PSP XLink Mode is enabled on the adapter.

Make sure you're using the newest version of Kai:

Kai Deep Port should be 30000. The rest of your settings looks fine.

As long as you're using the Planex Utility to connect with your PSP, you shouldn't have much difficulty.
